If you only have a mobile device to play, hold down anywhere on screen immediately after pressing the green flag, but if you have another device, play on there instead (I tested an made this on a chromebook, so really any device should do.) Main keys: • WASD/Arrow Keys to move, jump, and sink through semi-solids • I for potion • J/K for weapon abilities (A/B on mobile) • L to dash (if you've unlocked it) • U for Grappling Hook (if you've unlocked it) • O for Boost Bomb (if you've unlocked it) • E to open/close inventory • Z to interact, progress dialogue, and select in shops • X to skip dialogue and close shops • While standing next to a save point, click on it to get a save code • After pressing the green flag, a small button will appear in the top right corner. Click it to load from a save code. (This function isn't fully complete. All dialogue will reset (Which does mean infinite money, but the money gain isn't worth it). Some other unnoticed bugs may occur. This will be fixed soon, but the function works well enough to use it.) Other keys: • When hovering over an item that you can buy multiple times, hold Q to buy it really fast. (30x a sec, unless your device is lagging) • Hold H while starting the project to activate Hard Mode • You can also press Space at any save point to toggle Hard Mode on or off • Hard Mode doubles enemy health, gives bosses more health (but not double), makes enemies harder (like jumping zombies), makes boss attacks harder (every single one) UI: • In the bottom left is: • Hearts • Shows your current heath, out of max health. • Two counters • The green counter is your potions • The yellow counter is your gold • Two labels • The top left number label is your attack power • The bottom text is your equipped weapon • The top right bar is lv progress of your weapon • If the boost bomb is acquired, you will see the amount of boost bombs you have left in the bottom right. • While standing still and waiting to refresh your boost bombs, you can see a timer until your boost bombs are restocked Keep talking to Lote, there's something you want to tell him. (10% chance the dialogue occurs BTW) Commands: • If you don't want to farm for money, type "/sc" and enter an amount to get some. • If your counters bug out, just type /rc to reset them. • Type "/tp" to teleport to whatever screen you want. • Type nothing to get a room full of stuff that's been made but not yet placed on the map. • If you want to try what's made of the Arena, checkpoint at screen 999, with the arena itself on the screen to the right • Type /gi and name any item to instantly obtain it. (including abilities, weapons, hearts, etc.) • Type /allweapons to instantly obtain all weapons • Type /allabilities to instantly obtain every currently made ability • Type /maxstats to, well, max out your stats (technically there is no max but good enough) • Type /everything to do all the above three commands at once • Type /godmode to gain Infinite HP and Infinite Jumps and Infinite Damage (on most weapons) (This section will be hidden sometime soon. Maybe about a week or so.) There is a tower in progress. The entrance is at screen 50 but does nothing right now. But that is where the magic key(s) go. Once through you will climb a tall platforming section with magical books attacking you. Magic Key positions: • One hidden at the start in a secret area in the secret area. Requires all placed items in the game. • One in the church. There will be a key required to get in that is placed randomly behind a secret boss along with that secret boss's reward • One in a secret shop (Not yet made yet) This leads up to what is currently screen 750, where you fight the wizard living at the top, he has gone mad, and he will definitely put up a fight! There is a checkpoint at 749 for you. There are three phases. Unlike other bosses, he will smartly use certain attacks more based on his position compared to your position. This makes him a little harder to avoid, constantly keeping you on your feet and making attacking him harder. But, you can use this to your advantage. Learn his ways to master the fight. Once you save him by defeating him, he will gladly sell you his magical knowledge. These are weapons. Each Magic Book is its own weapon Each Spell is an ability in which you equip to the wand, allowing you to mix and match different weaker versions of the magic books (and allow you to use them earlier, because of the prices, but these weapons are going to be EXTREMELY overpowered, so I had to balance it a little bit more)
I was too lazy to make a Demo End screen, so once you reach the end you'll just fall into the void. The end is past a little platforming section at the far right of the current map.
