- This is a great way to practice pawn moves in chess. - Click a pawn to do its action. - The default action is moving forward one square. - But, if there is a diagonally adjacent enemy pawn, your pawn will capture theirs. - You can control both sides or play against the AI. - The AI personalities are not in order of difficulty. This is a concept, so there are bugs that I know about but have not fixed yet. I might add a rating system soon.
VERSION 3 UPDATE: Hexapawn XL has a new AI opponent - the AI from Semichess. Known bugs: - The AI (especially #2) can crash very easily. ---------------------------- The AI is super easy, so here are some bonus challenges: - Try to figure out its quirk and find the fastest way to beat it every time! The minimum number of moves required is 16 for AI #1, and 14 for AI #2. - Try to win a game against AI #1 that's longer than 60 moves. It's harder than you think.
