i have a few tips and suggestions! forgive me if i explained these poorly since i’m not the best teacher :,) 1. highlights! it lacks a few highlights, especially on toxin’s arms, chest, and their hair(thing?). highlights can make your art more expressive once added, so they’re quite important if they fit your style. they also can help a lot on smaller details, like their braids! :D 2. shadows the shadows are okay overall, but toxin’s background looks quite dark(just pure black in general). so i made the areas that are not near the light source a tiny but darker, as well as a more prominent shadow from their head. 3. other! if you want your shading-lighting process to be a tiny bit more efficient, i’d recommend planning on where you’d put the light source before actually shading your drawing. order can go like this: sketching > cleaning up lineart > coloring > light source planning > background drawing > shading/rendering
the improvement is actually SO good :00
