This is a CHUNKY project, on weaker devices the cutscenes and certain attacks might start to run like a molasses river. If it's too laggy for you, you can try running the project in Turbo-warp. It's also quite difficult, even on easier mode (that's why it's not simply "easy" mode). Controls: WASD/Arrow Keys: Move Space/Q: Slow down/Reveal Hitbox (good for dodging complex attacks) Click: Swing the sword towards the mouse Not mobile friendly sadly. IMPORTANT FEATURES Certain attacks release a blue sparkle effect when fired. These attacks can be parried by swinging your sword at them, which should damage the boss and prevent the attack from hurting you. This is required to beat the boss. Although you only have 5 Health, this health can be regenerated if you avoid being hit. After being hit it takes roughly 4 seconds for you to begin healing off damage at around 3.5 second intervals, so do try and concentrate on dodging in that time. Your Hitbox is incredibly small, being a little smaller than the gold orb in the player character's midsection. Use this to effectively sneak between projectiles. Not so important, but you can skip the intro with L. It can also skip the loading screen but I wouldn't recommend it on your first activation, especially if your device is weak.
This project was inspired by boss fights from nearly everywhere I've seen them. To be specific, Touhou and various Terraria Mods (especially Ultranium since its "Absolute Dread" boss inspired G.A.R.Y.'s design) had a major influence on the fight's design, such as the immense number of Projectiles and small player hit Detector. I'm also going to credit @sleepy_coder since this is sort of a spiritual successor to my remix of their "Battle Redux" project that got taken down.
