"So Coalpaw, not only are you not chasing the kittypet back into her Twoleg nest but you're talking to her." Smokestorm said. The white kittypet squeaked in alarm when she saw the gray warrior. "I was trying to ask her to leave before attacking her," Coalpaw meowed quietly. "In a battle, would you ask another cat just to LEAVE?" Smokestorm asked. "But she's not an enemy!" Coalpaw protested. "Who are you?" Smokestorm asked the kittypet. "I'm Angel," She said. "What are you doing here?" Smokestorm asked, "I used to always come into the forest," Angel said, her voice stronger. "You can still come but don't take any prey," Smokestorm said, he flicked his tail to signal Coalpaw to follow him. "That's not fair!" Coalpaw wailed once they left, "Angel used to always be able to come into the forest but since the clans came she hasn't been able to! Why can't she catch prey?!" "Are you siding with the kittypet?" Smokestorm asked, "During leaf-bare you'll regret your words," Back at camp Coalpaw saw Smokestorm talking with Cottonstar and she saw Cottonstar glance a look at her. "I swear I'm going to claw off your face-" Coalpaw hissed silently, "Who me?" Coalpaw whipped around and saw Cedarpaw right next to her. "No, Smokestorm," Coalpaw said. "Oh okay, he is sorta annoying and bossy." "AHEM." Suddenly Smokestorm was behind them glaring at Coalpaw. "Are you two going to stay here gossiping all night? If so, then I guess your warrior assessments can wait." "Warrior assessments!?" Cedarpaw asked. "Yes, Seedtail says you're ready Cedarpaw, and as for you Coalpaw... I think you're ready too." Smokestorm said. "FINALLY," Coalpaw said, "I can stop being his apprentice." "I can't WAIT to find out what my name!" Cedarpaw exclaimed, "I want to be leader! I'll be called Cedarstar and..." Cedarpaw rambled on and on about being a warrior and then leader. "I'm still waiting on my ticks to be cared for!" Goldfur, the elder yowled. "Oh great," Cedarpaw mumbled," So much for being a warrior!"
