This is the Qantaslink Boeing 717-2K2, VH-YQW that was retired then put back into service, and then later retired in October of 2024 when it touched down in Brisbane Airport for the last flight of the Qantaslink 717's, ever and has been given to Aviation Australia as a training tool for the Qantas Academy. UPDATE: Aviation Australia has officially put the 717-2K2 into its hangar at Brisbane Airport, officially moving their Fokker 28 outside to see the sun again before it is soon scrapped. FUN FACT: This paintjob took 2 days and hours to complete, (during school)
