Her name is Sunbeam Trust Hedgehog. She's Shadow's twin sister who Shadow never knew about. She says she isn't the long-lost twin because she thinks Shadow is the long-lost one, due to the fact that she's been trying to find him for the past ten years. She's the polar opposite of Shadow. Sunbeam is also a very religious Christian. Because of this, she refuses to associate with magic.
(Continued from above:) Sunbeam's locket has the power to turn one thing into something else, but it never makes something out of nothing. And Sunbeam says it's not magic, it's a gift from God. She's traveled the entire known world, so she knows a lot of people in a lot of places (including 3 alternate-dimensional Shadows who all happen to be female). She likes the colors silver and green, dragonfruit lemonade, and most songs by Taylor Swift or Josiah Queen. Sonic calls her Sis, but they aren't related. Sunbeam also has a small purse that looks too small to hold anything, but it actually has access to Hammerspace (which is when a character can get literally whatever they need seemingly out of thin air, regardless of whether or not said character has pockets). Sunbeam is sure Amy and Shadow also use Hammerspace, which is why Amy always has a hammer and Shadow almost always has a Chaos Emerald. Also, Amy hates Sunbeam. Amy thinks Sunbeam has a crush on Sonic, even though Sunbeam has explained many times that she is in love with Knuckles. It's a whole thing. Unlike most of the other hedgehogs, Sunbeam is a very slow runner. She uses an airboard as transportation, similar to how Shadow has his airshoes. Sunbeam doesn't like fighting. She is always trying to find a way to keep the peace between Sonic and Shadow, or between anyone else who starts a fight. Sunbeam also has a very rare disease that means magic causes physical pain for her. For her, watching a stranger do magic stings, watching a loved one be affected by magic hurts, and watching a loved one use magic causes intense pain. And if, for some inexplicable reason, Sunbeam used magic herself, it could be fatal. That's the other reason Sunbeam doesn't tolerate magic. Despite this, Amy still uses her tarot cards when Sunbeam is nearby. If Sunbeam were in a movie, I would want her to be voice acted by Samantha Ebert, the writer of the song "Flowers,” or Leanna Crawford, another really good Christian music artist who has written a lot of amazing songs.
