A pair which consisted of a Lilith and a Satan kid together, working to f1ght off one of those monsters in the upper stories of the house. To be exact, the House of Unwanted was well, meant for a dual purpose. Dual purpose meaning: ONE - Successfully protect all children of the lineage of Lilith and Satan, and TWO - Limit the numbers of the lineage while also ensuring that the monsters are dealt with properly. To be exact, while the House of Unwanteds hosted the children of the bl00dl1ne of Lilith and Satan, they also ensured that these powerful yet feared children did not end up dominating the world. And hoping for the best, the house was created on the Sadwiurna Hills, a lost part of the Garden of Eden. Not that many talk about it. But then again, not many know of it. The whole purpose was to make use of the Unwanteds ability to control certain powers and make them use their powers against the "never ending monsters". Never ending monsters. Created when Lilith was banished from the garden of Eden, and left to her own devices, and Satan who had recently erupted from the flames of hatred, together their sibling bonds arose from the mere factor that they were drowning in complete envy. Satan envying God, Eden and who not? And Lilith envying the woman who threw her crown into the flames. Her crown of power and authority. It was there that their sibling bonds forged into something strong. Unbeatable. And their envy created such horrid monsters. They could've easily been defeated. That's what Lilith wanted, after all she feared these monsters might hurt the children of nature, and no matter how much envy coated her entire being she could not and would not let these beings harm the children. But that's where the story ended didn't it? After all, Satan, the notorious man, not a man with horn and a tiny little tail, but rather a king with his own regal bearings k111ed his sister. How could he let her end the shadow monsters? The never ending monsters that would rejuvenate on their own without fail? So now, these poor children were stuck, fighting the monsters, avoiding the night huntings, and sleeping in their beds as early as they could. If allowed that is. This little hero party of Lester's however did things differently. After all, if it gets to your head, that you are the children of the righteous queen Lilith, you start seeing yourself in...well different colours. And Pride, the greatest of all seven sins, you embody. So what did Lester's little group of heroic children do? Nothing much really. They certainly didn't fiddle around with their belongings and cry themselves to sleep at night. But rather, they waited by their beds until the clock struck twelve of midnight. And when it did, they held onto their we, and crawled out of bed, grouping together before choosing one of them and their Haunting to go and hunt the nightly monster. Hauntings were only made if the person who the offer was offered to accepted it. But for many weaker children when an older person offered there was no choice to accept it. To accept the offer. And as far as Cain was aware, not many of the weaker haunting pairs survived. After all, these heroic children would take hold of one of the Satan's descendants and drag them off with them at night. And using those Satans as baits, they'd k111 the monster, take their prize, that is a soul stone and make a run for their beds before another monster creeps out of their rooms. Cain of course, knew the finding one of the Satan's de every morning was not a good sign. Especially since he always observed. Observed the people and their actions. But what choice did he have? Maxine wasn't exactly the type to listen was she? She was the type to scream at the top of her lungs and ruin people's lives. Your common spoiled woman. But then again, he himself had no choice. Maxine was one of the eldest here. "...F- Fine..I- I- I'll d- d- do it." "Pfah! See? He can't even speak Maxine, he'll get into trouble-" "SHUT UP! I KNOW WHAT I WANT. PLUS, IT'LL ONLY PLEASE THE MONSTER OF ROOM 5!" She screamed shrilly, making both Cruz and Cain flinch in pain. Oh that shrill voice was not a fun choice. Not a fun voice either. He clutched his book tightly, as he felt the footsteps of both the teens walk away. They did not even say goodbye. They wouldn't. Not to him. Weak Satans and Liliths were one thing. They were considered useless. But a half bl00d descendant like him? He was considered nothing by them. And that was not a fun feeling. But it's not like he could revolt against them. Not now, not when his condition was only worsening.
