[ Day Number : 7 (orientation) ] Definition : "Polysexual/romantic is the attraction to various, but not necessarily all, genders. A polysexual/romantic person may experience attraction to any number of genders, varying between (at least) two and many." - LGBTQIA+ Wiki Polysexual/romantic is NOT the same thing as bisexual/romantic, pansexual/romantic, and/or omnisexual/romantic. It is also not the same as polygender and/or polyamorous. [ Character : Bramblemask ( he/vey (he pref) ] [ Artist’s Corner ] Ok so first off, there were actually a LOT of coincidences for today’s pride month day I’m now realizing, the most notable of which being the characters that ended up falling on today. I had already pre-determined that I wanted to do Cricketcry for genderqueer and Bramblemask for poly, however what I didn’t realize was that genderqueer and poly. are on the same day. I swear that was SO completely unintentional, but it worked out soso well. Because of that, I ended up making their icons matching too! If you look at projects side-by-side, they match, which I think is very silly and fun. (Also context on the characters: in their story they’re together / in a relationship, thus why it’s so perfect they’re on the same day) ANYWAYS That aside, onto the icons! As usual, Bramblemask was a STRUGGLE, solely because of his cheek fur. Nothing against the cat of course but his fur is SO tricky for some reason. Thankfully though this wasn’t as horribly bad to go through as other times- mainly because I adopted the ‘eh good enough’ mentality lol. Althoughh as of late I’ve begun to memorize his fur type well enough that I often don’t need a reference to draw him, so that should probably help with drawing him while not warping the sketch a million times. As for the matching bit though, I did both icons on different canvases so I wasn’t sure how they’d end up looking, but overall they look really good when put together I think! In procreate the flags’ stripes even line up perfectly as well, which I like a lot.
