To test, duplicate this tab and click the green flag on both. If both tabs don't show the same number, then that means that cloud variables don't work for you. Otherwise, it does.
I know this project literally only consists of 10 blocks, but it's still pretty useful in helping you identify if cloud variables work for you or not - sometimes Scratch's cloud variables are down and you won't even realise it.
