The most recent full moon was, indeed, not today. February 12, 2025, just two days ago, was. Yet, today, February 14th, marks Lysithea, or Thea's official solo debut under ERIS and CERISE. And there comes the big question we all have on our minds... Why would the debut release on Valentine's Day specifically, and not a full moon day? As we all know, ERIS' long-awaited debut was released on October 7th, a full moon day. However, their most recent, and only comeback so far, was released January 31st, to which the moon was at its Waxing Crescent phase. Now, I could be wrong, as this theory isn't backed up by much solid evidence as of now (We've only had two ERIS releases and one solo), but my hunch is that the dates have correlations with how closely related the release has with the ARG lore, given that the promotional project for this release stated that the album “may or may not correlate with ERIS' lore", which seems to be lining up with what we have so far. This could also signify that Snow Halation doesn't have any canonical significance- After all, the comeback received a visualizer instead a full-on music video. Remember the Verse 3 project? ( Link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1131018629/ ) To promote 'In♡Between', the official ERIS account posted a promo teaser for Thea's solo release. This most definitely shocked fans (As with ERIS member, Yume @yumetopia), as the visualizer was in a pastel pinkish color, instead of Thea's official color, red. Now, this could just be a side effect (, or perhaps the cause,) of her rebrand a while back, or something else entirely. Quite possibly, colors play a role in the ERIS storyline, although we haven't had quite enough proof to back this up either. I won't put aside the possibility that this is simply just a stylistic decision, perhaps to go along with the song choice as well. The title track of In♡Between- Russian Roulette, received a performance MV. Now- The version here is simply the original Korean lyrics, which wouldn't explain much storyline-wise as it would just be the same kinds of symbolism with the original song itself. Russian Roulette, for those wondering, is- Pretty... Lethal, and I won't go into specifics here for that given reason. To put it simply though, it's a game where whether you live another day pretty much solely depends on chance. Now, I'm slightly confused why they didn't make Heart Raider the title track, as tripleS song generally have a lot more lore potential, but I'd rather believe the decision was based off something else entirely. The performance MV itself doesn't have much to show for lore- One notable quirk would be that Thea sings in different voices, to which a theory is that one of these voices represents her past, 'innocent' self, while the 'stronger' voice is what she's become, the transformation she's been through after seeing what she's seen. Additionally, the duration of the video is 3:31- A bit underwhelming, considering that adding the CERISE ending screen could bump it up to exactly 3:33... But that's just my own reference-addict mind speaking LOL. Also, Lea mentioned in the 2025 community studio that the album's title 'In♡Between' could very likely be a direct or indirect reference to 's project, 'the_inbetween.png', further confirming that is, indeed, Lysithea/Thea. The sudden name alteration is also something I can't quite grasp, though the name 'Lysithea' is still used on the graphics and description, and once again- Could just be a rebrand thing. I'll post another project specifically on the topic of the Verse 3 project shortly thereafter, potentially with the release of Heart Raider as well. For now, we can all enjoy Thea's solo while we await more ERIS content.
