(Sorta spoilers for Kirby's Return to Dreamland btw, also apologies for the constantly changing thumbnail lol) Hiya! It's... been a while since I've posted... nevermind that. Uh, anyways, for the past week or so ever since I learned what the term ASAW means, I've been making a 4-panel comic! Instructions: Click to advance through the panels. The full comic is at the end "But, Mango, what even IS ASAW?" It stands for Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week. It's exactly what it sounds like, it's a week for anyone on the aromantic spectrum. (If you don't know what the aromantic spectrum is, it's when someone typically doesn't have romantic feelings, or not as often, or not in a traditional sense, or a certain "requirement" within the relationship must be fulfilled to feel it) Because of this, I decided to create a comic about probably one of my favourite lgbtq+ headcanons, and that being Magolor is aroace. (I mean, come on, he's literally the colours of the aroace flag, he looks like a guy who likes garlic bread, and he tried to conquer the world, which includes Denmark) So, why am I making a project on specifically ASAW? Well, I'm on the aromantic spectrum myself! To be specific, I'm quoiromantic. Which basically means I struggle to distinguish romantic feelings from platonic feelings. I honestly don't know if I've ever had any feelings for any of my supposed "crushes" I've had over the years, so... yeah. To all my aro-spec peeps out there, you're awesome and valid! This week's your weeks, so let's take the time to CONQUER THE WORLD- I- I mean, let's take this time to have some pride in our identities, and show that this isn't a phase, and that we belong in the queer community.
