Dijkwood Equestrian Centre is built directly on the old Dutch dijklands, giving the entire facility a unique elevated view over the surrounding meadows. Originally founded in 2023 and rebuilt in 2026, Dijkwood is a calm, structured environment dedicated to the wellbeing and development of every horse. Our speciality is dressage, focusing on harmony, balance, and classical training. Alongside our dressage partners, we also work with eventing horses and a range of english riding disciplines, offering structured schooling and flatwork development. We do not offer breeding (for now), our focus is training, care, and creating a peaceful space for horses to grow. — Controls | Click on areas such as the barn, pastures, arenas, and more to explore. | Use the arrow keys to move around the map. — Horses | Our horses live on pasture 24/7, unless they are being fed or the weather is exceptionally bad. | Feeding times are 10 AM, 3 PM, and 8 PM in your time zone, during these times, you’ll find them in their stalls. | Horses also move to their stalls during thunderstorms (but not regular rain). — Services | Dressage training (all levels) | Eventing & English‑discipline schooling | Leasing | Young horse development | Basic groundwork & starting sessions | Conditioning & fitness programs | Rider flatwork improvement sessions | Behavioural assessment & gentle retraining — Layout | Stallion & Gelding Fields | Mare Fields | Main Stalls | Outdoor Arena | Outdoor XC Arena/Course [More areas will be added as Dijkwood continues to expand.] — Seasonal Note ♛ Early Spring, 2026 Spring is beginning to show, but winter still lingers across the Netherlands. Some mornings are icy, the dijk paths freeze over, and the fields remain crisp with frost. Turnout is adjusted depending on the weather, and the arena footing is maintained daily for safe dressage and eventing‑flatwork sessions. Horses are slowly transitioning out of their heavier rugs as temperatures rise. — Update Log 2023 — Original founding 20/02/26 — Grand Re‑Opening 21/02/2026 — Cross‑country course added
