So I’ve gotten… slightly better at drawing humans in the past four years heh I only really started /trying/ to draw them regularly sometime in late 2023 or so. Before that I only drew cats and occasionally humans because I just decided they were too hard haha. Now, I basically only draw humans and rarely draw cats. 1. Oh jeez - this was one of the first pieces of digital art I did, on scratch, with my mouse. BUT since I don’t /love/ being super harsh on my older art, since it’s all part of learning. However the colors… they’re so bad. So so bad. Why would I use SUCH saturated colors so much. 2. This is a pretty big time skip, but this is when I first got procreate. It’s better than the last one, but still pretty bad. Im almost certain I didn’t use a sketch. (Also the reason it’s crossed out is that i was off by a year). I forgot I used an app called sketches for almost a year. Again, the colors are AWFUL and I went overboard with the effects 3. Quite a bit later - or maybe just quite a bit of improvement later haha but ohh boy the colors aren’t as bad but the anatomy is concerning 4. Again, the anatomy got better but the lines are so awkward :’) 5. Oh boy the anatomy is… eugh. Idk what else to say 6. Okay thus is actually a lot better - the anatomy isn’t perfect but it’s much better. And the style is nicer imo (belongs to @blizzy2) 7. Went overboard with the lighting here but not too bad. But eugh the hair 8. Oof the hair it makes zero sense 9. The colors are really saturated on this one for some reason - they weren’t originally like that. I think it’s cause I screenshotted it 10. Woah this actually isn’t terrible :0 it’s a bit stiff though (belongs to @writer21) 11. I’m actually still proud of this! I didn’t win the character but I really like how it turned out (design but @lagonish) 12. Once again, I’m still proud of this - though I think I could do better now. But im still happy with this o7 13. The hand is good but the face is wonky :/ 14. Calypso! The face isn’t great though but I love her hair and the colors are good :) 15. I’m actually still pretty happy with this (but the colors are screwed up cause it’s a screenshot and that makes it more saturated for some reason) 16. So happy with this one :D especially the lighting (character belongs to ) 17. Hsndjneidm this actually didn’t take that long but I love it :) 18. Redrawing a bunch of my old OC refs and Cecil is one of em - personally I’m really happy with the art 19.
