Chapter 1 Cave is an understatement for this place. Labyrinth is more fitting. After all, for the week since I fell into this place no sign of an exit has presented itself. After discovering the entrance when trying to take shelter from a storm, I saw a small blue light in the back. Thinking maybe it was a Bubbulfrog I followed it and the next thing I knew I was falling down and I landed in this maze. Now, a week later, I have dwindling supplies and no hope for the entrance to appear. After packing up my make-shift bedroll, made from the furs of whatever creature I have recently come across, I start off again in order to hopefully find food and maybe the entrance. As I am setting off my mind wanders to the people of Hyrule Castle. Princess Zelda must have every search party after me, and the students at Hateno School, they adore me so dearly, I can't imagine what they must be thinking. Purah had just discovered a new relic asking Zelda and I to come see it and decide its name. Before I restored Zelda back to her human self, I had Rauru's arm with which I was able to ascend into a ceiling and be done with this. But now I am forced to search every hidden turn, every twist to find a way out. This is all hopeless, how can the Hero of Time get stuck in a stupid maze? I was able to complete the Labyrinths above ground how is this much different? As I walk the maze of rock walls I wonder; how did this get here? There must have been an old being that made this, a great force of magic must have been used as well. My mind wanders farther into the possibilities as I explore the maze more. I round the corner and I see a Horriblin and much less a silver one! I crouch down hoping that it won't spot me, slowly I draw my bow aiming right at it. Concentrating, I keep my bow trained on its head waiting for it to turn towards me. Finally, it does and as soon as it does I release my arrow flying straight at the Horriblin. It hits it dead on and the Horriblin reels back from the shock. I draw my sword and rush at it delivering blow after blow. Finally, the Horriblin dies and I am able to go past. I look at my arrow supply I have 45 left I will need to somehow make more down here or find the entrance. After a whole day of exploring I decided to set up camp for the night. My food supplies dwindle with each passing day, I'm down to 16 Hyrule herbs, 19 eggs, 20 pieces of meat, and 9 bottles of milk. I can stretch it but if it becomes necessary I might have to try monster meat, it hasn't been tested for nutrients and health factors, but if it comes to that I may have to try it. I roll out of my bed roll and lay down hoping sleep will come quickly but with the luck I've had it doesn't and I'm left with the thoughts of everyone at home, especially Princess Zelda. Finally sleep claims me and I rest for the next day with the hope that I can get out soon.
I am experiencing writer's block for my book, so I decided to start something new. The art is not mine, but I think it fits the story. The story is after the events of ToTK from Link's pov and he has been lost in an ever-changing labyrinth whose entrance is a cave that he went into to seek shelter. This took me about three days.
