The Saldavan 100 was Swedish Car Manufacturer's Saldavan's answer to the D/R Nudge, D/R Astral, And the Brandt Scoppio that were invading the small car market in the 2000's. Saldavan, being founded in 1992, didn't really have good experience at making cars, but they thought it could be a more profitable market over making grandfather clocks. So they hired River designer @Thecrazycoder937 to make a small economy hatchback that would be affordable and stylish. and he came up with this. The 100. The 100 would be Saldavan's entry level car, and it would start sales in April of 2003 in Sweden, Norway, Iceland, The UK, Spitfire Island, The Verani Islands, France, Spain, Ireland, and basically the rest of western Europe. Saldavan expected to sell around 10000 Units a month and their prediction was correct, as on average, the 100 would sell around 9,921 units per month. The car was praised for being fun to drive, fuel efficient, and cheap to fix. (Mostly because of the River suspension setup and 1.0 I3 and 1.3 I4 derived from River as well) besides that, there were some issues with the optional auto gearbox but besides that its still pretty good aside from some rust and the 2-star safety rating of the base model, but that wasn't really a concern because if you got the LE that 2-star would become a 4-star rating. It didn't blow River or Brandt's competition out of the water, but it was a good little car for learners or city commuting and got Saldavan a lot of money, and with the money from this car made them able to make an off-road company. Its name? Vinnare.
