Space, click, arrows. The usual. Full-screen recommended. I'm starting to feel like these two sentences are my catchphrase now. Also, don't hold down any buttons or spam the stage because... things start flashing. _____________________________________________ Just casually sharing a project about Eid when Ramadan hasn't even started. And then changing it when Eid is in, like, a few days. I guess this is my first project where I've basically screamed "I'M MUSLIM!" and spelled it out for everyone. We'll see how that goes. ... I'll be fine. (If I need to be more obvious, please be civil human beings. Obey the Scratch rules. Don't hate on me for this. And PLEASE no comment wars.) _____________________________________________ All art by me. I like my new style of drawing people. Don't get me started on how hard it is to make them remotely realistic... I stole the static screen stuff off of Google, though. The 1% of coding this required is also by me. All the math problems were created and then solved by me. Yes, I'm a big math whiz. Taking a university-level class next year. PRE-CALC, HERE I COME! And all of them are correct, by the way, unless I made an error and didn't notice. As for where I got this very spontaneous idea? My headspace is a very weird place, I tell you. _____________________________________________ I am indeed a hijabi girl who wears glasses. Yay for me! For more about Islam, you can always just ask your Muslim peers around you. We're often more than happy to answer your questions to the best of our ability. (That is code for: I failed to find any kid-friendly websites teaching about Islam that doesn't already assume you're a Muslim, so go find kid-friendly Muslim kids instead.) As for financial advice and cultivating interest in a generation of kids? You didn't hear that from me. _____________________________________________ I found out that a Muslim organization in my state has proposed a bill to make both Eids official state-recognized holidays for Muslim employees... but not legal holidays with time off being paid for. I guess it's still a good thing. Yay for democracy. And teachers can't fail me for assignments due on Eid that I didn't complete because I was too busy celebrating. I even got to attend a party at the state capitol building, which happened right on Eid day (3/31/25). Missed the bill passage, but got there in time for food. :) Let's be honest, people would only care about the food. _____________________________________________ Maybe I should try these for once.
