I can't believe that some 70 or so years ago people would choose profit over the planet. Of course, we later found out that is was terrible for the climate, but we didn't stop. When I say we, I'm not accusing everybody of it. Some wonderful people fought back against it. But a good handful of businesses and factories didn't stop. Even now, in 2025, we all still chip in. Driving in a long road trip to visit family, accidentally leaving the lights on. I get it. Plane tickets can be expensive, and everybody forgets sometimes. One of the biggest causes of climate change are fossil fuels. These are in things like gasoline/petrol and coal. Unlike sunlight, these are nonrenewable. If we use them up at this rate, they won't be around for a bajillion years. I'm not saying it's each and every one of yall's (sorry i'm southern) responsibility, I'm just trying to get out the word that if the whole world was able to put the Earth in the state it's in right now, maybe we could slowly piece it back together. codeword: togetherwecan It's not that hard. Try to ride the public transit when you can, get a reusable water bottle, or at least reuse your plastic one. (You could decorate it with stickers if you want!!) Use hand-me-downs. In books and movies, they're really bad. I have a good friend who is a size bigger than me and she gives me her old clothes. She has great taste! I really hope this has at least made you aware of climate change and how to stop it. Even if you don't take action (we aren't all big on public speaking) you can at least tell people. Thnx for reading this long vent I had. Type the codeword into my chatroom for a free follow :) TOGETHER WE CAN STOP CLIMATE CHANGE
