Prepare yourself, human! For capers! And japers! Everybody loves japers! And random generation! Navigate a randomly generated maze of colorful tiles! Different tiles do different things. Sometimes, the tiles will help you. Other times, they'll be against you. Use your wits to get through this labyrinth of bad choices! Instructions are in the project. Just give "Help Menu" a click!
If you play Undertale, you probably have seen the Multicolor Tile Puzzle thrown at you by Papyrus and Mettaton. It's a fun puzzle, but it's never really random like Papyrus said. It's the same puzzle every time. What if it was random? I decided to challenge myself to create a totally random puzzle that would not only challenge the player but would make sure that every puzzle is solvable. It wasn't easy, but I succeeded! I'm rather happy with the result, too! Okay, time for giving credit. I have a LOT of credit to give to Toby Fox, so I'll just put stuff into categories. Toby Fox made: -Undertale -The whole idea of the puzzle -The rules and logic of the puzzle -The sounds and music -SOUL and tile sprites (tile sprites from Undertale Wiki) I made: -This project -All programming -Sprites of Blue, Green, and Yellow tiles when stepped on -Rest of the unmentioned sprites -Random Generation There's a pretty good chance that I'll get another game out on (if not before) Father's Day.
