=============DESCRIP================ You've won the TV lottery, but it didn't go as planned. Turns out that lottery winners are sent Buns, bunny-like creatures that produce money! Money doesn't grow on trees, it comes from buns! Boom bang bong bingo money! Tycoon/"raise a ___"/virtual pet game about bunnies that poop out valuable crystals. You start out with just enough money to buy the basics to get your bun crystal farming going! =============INSTRUCTIONS=============== Stats are shown in the top right corner, and can be toggled by pressing the S key! Click on your bun's...ahem...poop crystals to collect the cash from them! Press U to see possible upgrades to spend your cash on to make your home better for your bun! Press the spacebar to hide the upgrades menu. Your bun squeaks when clicked and produces a low quality crystal each time. Your bun WILL NOT produce crystals if you let their stats drop to zero! Once all of your bun's stats hit -25, it's game over. All art done by me within Scratch using the vector tool! Music was created in BeepBox, and the squeaky toy sound is from the Scratch sound effects library. The only song I didn't make was the Halloween music, which is from Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Bun has randomized animations through the entirety of your playthrough! Enjoy seeing your bun behave like a cute little bun does! All code was done by your's truely! =============HISTORY================= When I first started Scratch 11 years ago (almost 12 now) on my old account @zakk90, games like this where you raised a little baby were fairly popular! Granted, they usually were of MLP foals on my end since my young self was obsessed with My Little Pony. Now that I'm 18 turning 19, not so much (still like it, but not to that degree!). But I made this for nostalgia, and to try and improve upon an old concept and make it a more enjoyable experience for players. In the end, this game ended up an odd hodgepodge of the tycoon and "raise a ____" game genres. I enjoyed making it, I hope you enjoy playing it! Even just version 1.0 was...surprisingly time consuming to produce (maybe five hours total?), haha. Future updates will be planned with more decor and upgrade options for personalization. Eventually I want you to be able to have multiple buns. I also plan to add more animations to the randomized bun animation pool. =========================================
