[+] His favorite thing to do is play-fight! [+] So, cats with Pituitary dwarfism typically don't show symptoms until there four months old at the youngest. Because of that, I mostly drew Aridkit normally for this project. He also won't be acting much differently, I really couldn't find that much information on what it's like before four months, so, he'll just be hanging out until then. ---------- Research: * Pituitary dwarfism is a rare condition caused by low production of growth hormones. Affected kittens typically show symptoms between 4-6 months old, leading to stunted growth that is obvious at a young age. * This, in short, means that they age much slower than they should, and can cause things like slower bone growth rate (Which can cause them to be much shorter than the average cat, make their legs appear shorter, and mess with their teeth and dental health) as well as general immaturity in the body (Retaining their kitten-fur as they age, underdeveloped organs, etc). * They also tend to experience issues with hormone balancing and metabolic problems, which can cause behavioral issues (Like lethargy or increased irritability), decrease in energy levels, and problems regulating body temperature. * Notably, while most cats with dwarfism will live an average lifespan with proper care, cats with Pituitary dwarfism generally have shortened lifespans due to most/all of their vital organs being underdeveloped. ---------- Rp example: Aridkit was a lot of things, but one of them was certainly not a quitter.
