A: Yep Q3: First person POV, second person POV, or third person POV? A: Depends on the story. For most of mine, definitely first person Q4: Do you have a favourite author? If so, who? A: Probably Sarah Dessen or Leigh Bardugo Q5: Do you want to be a writer when you're older? A: I'm not sure what I want to do when I'm older Q6: Do you have any advice for writers? If so, what is it? A: PRACTICE. It seems fake but seriously I'm in such a different place than I was two years ago because of such extensive practice. Q7: When it comes to writing, are you a perfectionist? A: Absolutely Q8: Have you shared a story on scratch before? A: Yep Q9: What's your favourite plot structure? (7 point plot structure, hero's journey plot structure, etc) A: Hero's journey is always a good one Q10: What's your inspiration? A: Oooooh that's complicated. I just want to make people feel seen in the way a lot of books have done for me Q11: Do you like making graphic novels/comics? A: Nah Q12: Poetry, or story writing? A: Poetry probably Q13: Fiction or non-fiction? A: Fiction :) I love a good "based on a true story" though Q14: What's your favourite book/series? A: Probably Just Listen by Sarah Dessen Q15: Do you believe in writers block? A: Yes, it's a killer Q16: What about reader's block? A: Absolutely Q17: Do you like putting references in your stories? (references to other books, a movie, songs, etc) A: I LOVE references Q18: Do you like writing chapter books? A: Absolutely Q19: Realistic fiction or unrealistic fiction? A: Realistic, I like being able to relate Q20: Have you ever written a character based on someone in real life? A: Most of my characters are based on real people Q21: Do you give MBTI personality types to your characters? A: On occasion Q22: Writing in a notebook or writing on google docs? A: Google docs, but it varies from moment to moment (I'll be seriously impressed if you catch that reference) Q23: What do you think is the best thing for someone to do when they get writers block? A: I just skip that part of the story or I just write a whole bunch of random stuff (use a random word generator and write a story with that word in it, it helps give inspiration) Q24: When did you realize you wanted to be a writer? A: Fourth grade, when my friend turned our roleplay into a book and I was like "wait this is fun" Q25: Do you have a lot of OCs? A: A crapton Q26: Do you have a lot of stories you are writing? A: Too many Q27: What's the most difficult part of planning a story? A: Outlining it, especially when it's a complicated plot Q28: Do you do journaling? A: Yep, it helps get inspiration Q29: Do you write in one specific way/theme, or lots of different ways/themes? e.g. fantasy, third person, non-fiction, first person, second person, fiction, etc A: Depends Q30: Do you find it hard to write the first chapter/ prologue? A: Definitely, the first part is the hardest (setting the scene, etc.) because YOU, the author, know the world and the characters, but the readers don't Q31: Have you drawn your characters before? A: I wish I could still draw Q32: Have you roleplayed with your characters before? A: ...yep Q33: Do you think you take way too long planning what to write instead of actually writing? A: Yep definitely Q34: What's your favourite part when editing? A: I'm not sure I have a favorite part, but I like seeing how far I've come Q35: What's your least favourite part when editing? A: Yeah most of my main characters are loosely based around myself Q41: Do you usually unintentionally make a side character more interesting than a main character?
