Chemiballs is an idea I had a few years ago, around 3 to 5 years back. It started while I was playing a Roblox game where you roleplay as flags on spherical characters called Countryballs, and you can also make custom Countryballs. One day, while designing a custom morph, I thought, "If there are flags with eyes and planets with eyes (which we could call Planetballs), why not create periodic elements with eyes too?" That's how Chemiballs was made. Although many other people out there had the same idea, possibly before i did, I think i had it better. That was the best way i could explain the story.
