9898windro was the first friend I ever made on Scratch. Since his account was deleted nearly four years ago, I thought I would share why I decided to make this tribute. 9898windro was very creative and knowledgeable about many technical aspects of Scratch, while both of us were still only New Scratchers. I met 9898windro when I was scrolling through remixes from remixable scrolling platformer engine by 23ScratchMan (Another Scratcher that we lost) and I remixed his remix of the project. After moving from scratch games, 9898windro moved to animations featuring characters from The Amazing World of Gumball which massively inspired me to start making scratch animations. I want to thank 9898windro and all the other scratchers including @23ScratchMan , @Dhilly , @WO997 , @TimMcCool and so many others. Feel free to share some of your scratch friends and inspirations that are no longer active and we can remember them here.
