There was an avalanche and Ivyfern & Wintergreen got separated very very very far from each other. Ivy got stocked between some boulders. She was rescued by Shadow clan patrols passing by. The prev. med. cat of Shadow clan, Berryfrost, was brought to the site and warmed Ivy with a fire and treated Ivy's legs from the heavy boulders. The patrols found Ivy's mom, and Berryfrost helped Ivy's mom, too. Ivy was watching Berryfrost heal her mom in fascination, so she straight-on decided to be a medicine cat.
