~ welcome (back)! ~ You've probably heard of Bluey, the kids show on Disney+ / Hulu / YouTube. Maybe you love it, maybe you hate it, maybe you don't know anything about it. That was me before Bluey changed my life. ... Lol i'm kidding, this isn't a Bluey testimony. But actually, Bluey is a really good show and you should watch it! It's not just for little kids and is actually known for it's appeal to adults and topics of parenting- while still being very entertaning. I'm a teenager who started watching Bluey in 6th grade and got hooked... If you haven't watched it before, I highly recommend trying it out. ~~~ Ok now onto the inner meanings of Bluey! ~~~~~ ** Trigger warning: The following brings up topics of depression, miscarriage, and child abandonment ** - In the episode "Bumpy and the wise old wolfhound", it is speculated that the reason that Bingo is in the hospital is because she has Celiac Disease. - In the episode "The Show", it is confirmed by the creator, Joe Brumm, that Chili (Bluey's mom) DID have a miscarriage before Bluey, making bluey a "rainbow baby" (A healthy baby born after a miscarriage), further explored in the episode "Rain", when Bluey and her mom stand in front of a double rainbow- the first time a rainbow is showed in Bluey. - In the episode "Space", It is implied that Mackenzie has PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder) as a result of an incident of abandonment when he was younger. It is also suggested that Mackenzie is depressed and has trouble being happy and sharing his feelings. Mackenzie venturing into the black hole is his way of processing a traumatic memory. That's it for now, leave any feedback or project suggestions in the comments!! Should I make a part 2?
