Keyboard Cat is a 1984 video of Fatso (the cat) sadly Fatso passed away from cancer just 3 years later in 1987, you may think that’s the end of Fatso’s story but no, in June of 2007 Fatso’s owner, Charlie Schmidt uploaded Fatso’s video to YouTube and in 2009 the video went viral. Schmidt has since adopted two more cats. Bento became the new keyboard cat, and on March 11 2010, Bento made his first appearance. Bento brought the Internet much joy until he sadly passed away on March 8 2018 (also due to cancer). Schmidt then got yet another cat named Skinny, also known as keyboard cat 3.0. Fly high Fatso and Bento I hope you both are still playing your tunes in heaven!
