She slowly arose from her spot, leaving the warm bodies of her family. Alderlake let out a soft exhale, their life was quite a constellation of events and emotions. Friendships were lost and gained- - families were started inside of her own. She even had two of her own kits! How about that? Though xey had never expected to become friends with Ladybugshine, it was quite a turn in her life, they felt as if they could trust more easily. (though, of course, that temper would always catch herself) Xey began taking a few strides forward, remembering the happiness she had come across in her life. She thought of her beautiful family, to be the oldest was never something she’d thought would happen. But life always finds a way, some die early and some make remarkable recoveries. She thought of her siblings, Dove, Wishdove and Swanlight. Her sibling-in-law, Evergreen. Her mate, Kili and their two beautiful kits Dove and Waso. Xey never thought they could become this happy in life yet here they were. They settled down into a loaf position, thinking over these memories for a moment, some were good and some were bad- but they were important to remember. The blue-feathered feline arose from the cream paws that were set neatly under them, wobbling out into the glittering moonlight. Xey thought about more of the memories, of how back in the mountains the moonlight seemed to dance along her blue feathers like an array of constellations of the night sky. Alderlake took a deep breath, her cream chest slowly rising and falling, neatly synchronized with the purple gem that hung freely among her neck. She thought of the friends she had made along the way and how much fun memories they had made together. But most importantly, she thought of her parents. Magpiesong and Goldfinch. Who had believed in xem to keep going and achieve their dreams, they had become a warrior just like xey had wanted. Her heart ached when xey thought of the two, her mother’s kind blue eyes and her fathers fiery spirit- it made her feel special inside, like she wasn't a burden among the world. Alderlake closed her blind teal eyes, letting the wind run freely through her fur and feathers, the sound of the ocean hitting the side of the rock she was neatly seated, and how it reminded her so much of herself yet not at the same time. However, the one thought she always remembered, as if her mother was saying it to little Alderkit- - “The past will always hold a place in your heart.” And those were the words that made Alderlake keep going, to keep achieving her dreams, to make her parents proud. [cont in N + C]
The falconcat listened to the waves crashing amongst the rocks, the air blowing freely around her. She felt free herself, no one to tell her what to do- - sometimes it was just her, in her own little world, even if she couldn't see xey had still felt the beauty of the world around them. She had promised to make her parents proud, and she hoped they had achieved that. Alderlake bounded across the sand, or at least tried to, it was hard to get some sort of bounding rhythm out here for her at least as the sand seemed to give out under ones paws- she reached out a cream-mitted paw, dipping it into the cold and salty sea. A sense of warmth and comfort washing over her, Alder let out a soft exhale, sitting down on her haunches as she tilted her head to the sky. Among her mothers own words, she found out the truth. The truth that water also held memories. Alderlake. That name made her proud. ⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 AGH OMG- I did not expect to make a SRP at all haha, but I suppose the rush of motivation I had made me want to make one after all ^^ Also, yes, there was a few bits of Alderlakes lore in here, the writing may not be the best but atleast it works <3 ⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。゚⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。
