I've made several, horrible, unrealistic backstories for this kid over the years, so here's the one I've recently made that I'm sticking with: ✦ Aaron’s father, Eric, was a good man. a family man. he loved his wife and kids, but just like everyone, he had an insecurity. because deep down, he didn’t believe he could be the father/husband that they needed or deserved. it was a lie, but he couldn’t see that. Eric decided to hang out with coworkers more for support, but they were the wrong type of company. with influence from them, Eric started delving into glasses of liquid that never had answers. he lost his integrity and things got messy with his family. fights, shouting, you name it. Eric left when Aaron was 12. Aaron’s mother, Emily, had to work. Aaron had to step up for his 2 younger siblings. things were rough, but they pulled through.
