Her apprentice is too dim, her claws hurt, she doesn't want to go on patrol... Blueheart, her littermate, loses his mind over it. Lightsong, a queen, lost a kit the night of Sunflower and Blueheart's argument. Moonkit had just turned six moons and was very clever. The other queens were jealous, but - not so much as to kill Moonkit. Lightsong's other kit, Rainkit, grew to be a kind but not so talented apprentice. She always seemed angry and confused when anyone mentioned Moonkit. Lightsong's brother, Thunderclaw, left the Clan when he was just an apprentice. No one knows what happened.
