A Worm $RP ~ ----------------------------------------- His dad had always had a sense of humor. At a young age, Worm was taught to stay positive. To make the best of things. Simply to have fun. It was quite difficult at first. The young alleycat had always had a sense for danger. He knew when something would happen. When a tragedy would strike. When someone would be hurt. Despite the constant paranoia, with practice, Worm learned to let go of his fears. To experience life to its fullest. Sure, it drove his friends completely crazy- he constantly made fun of and taunted them. But other than that it was fine. For the most part, it was working out. Worm's father bought them a small, humble apartment, he was so relieved to be done with his shady job of selling contraband in the underworld of the city just to make a buck or two. Just when things seemed to be looking up. It happened. The incident. Worm had been young, he only remembered three things. A scream, A popcorn-like sound, And laughing. But not from his dad... Worm ran as far away as possible, not once looking behind him to see if any cat was following. He ran to the one other place he knew. The alleyways. Worm learned the trade of his dad quickly, talk fast, get things done, never look back. Have a sense of humor and quick thinking. All the while, he never once thought about the incident. Well, he did- but rarely because of how upset it made him. It was his fault- he should have seen it coming- he should have stopped it... Worm promised himself to never let others see him upset. It was weak, they could use him. Instead, he went back to his normal personality, annoying others and lying. Just like if he were a little kid with his friends. Then the unthinkable happened. It was an evening Worm thought he'd never see. He didn't think quick enough, he didn't stay positive. The one car with sirens seemed to surround him, the noise and lights made him want to crawl into a hole and curl into a defensive ball. Of course, he promised himself he'd never do that again. Instead, he smiled, laughing occasionally as the cats in blue escorted him into his lonely, barred chariot. Later, while joking with a fellow arrested, he was brought into questioning. All he remembered was the mention of a raid, and why he got arrested. He got moved to a larger prison a few days later full of other shifty crime-commiters. Some killers, others mafia leaders... In truth, Worm was scared. He didn't deserve to be here. But like always. He smiled. And decided that he'd stay... Let's call it positive.
