Use the arrow keys to move. In the first fight against Mephiles you can't win so if you're in a rush, stay still, as getting hit progresses the story.
You may have to press the green flag twice if something other than Super Sonic or the ocean appears. Also, this is a work in progress, so the orange door code hasn't been finished. Sorry.
