“The End.” Chapter One “THE END.” The children started clapping. One even launched themselves at my boyfriend. Eventually, he had four children latched on his legs. He thought the best date idea was to read to young children at our local library. He was right, though I don’t know how he’s going to get out of this place with toddlers crowding all around him. “Luca, that was amazing! I didn’t know you were so good at storytelling,” I questioned. “Well, it kind of comes along with having a four-year-old sister.” He spoke. I could tell by his tone that he was embarrassed. For the buff jock Luca is, he gets flustered very easily. It’s our third date, so I thought I would hold his hand while walking inside the library. I guess he wasn’t ready because when I picked up his cold hand, he turned into a bright red glow-stick. “You look like a tomato.” I told him. “You can’t fluster me like that, Kirby,” He squeaked, hiding his red face. We were walking back home in the snow, in total silence. I pulled out my earbuds and handed one to Luca. I put on my favorite song: “Lovers Rock” by TV Girl. ‘But if you’re too drunk to drive, and the music is right, she might let you stay, but just for the night.’ Suddenly, Luca stopped walking. He looked at me with a smug smile. “What are you doing?” He walked over to me and crouched down on the floor. Suddenly my feet were high in the sky. “PUT ME DOWN!!” “Nah, I’m good.”
