This is Regina (they/fae/she, no preference), don't ask about her face I can't draw faces. Also fae is a sunflower. BACKSTORY (TW for discrimination): Solis Princepessa (Princess of the sun) Regina is the daughter of the Rex Solis (sun king, leader of the Regula Solis) and is destined to take over their father when he dies/retires from ruling. She has had a go at most jobs in the government/Regula Solis and been astounding at all of them. To most people on Ager, it seems like fae has the perfect life. But they don't. She has helped contain luminarias, control and destroy the Pares (aka the Equals, the rebellion fighting for the rights of lumenarias), enforce faers father's ridiculous rules that serve only to divide people, interrogate humans, and even carry out experiments on human kids. All to further their father's rein. And what she has learned is that the kindness of others - of the lumenaria, of the humans - always holds out. So why can't the sunflowers be kind? Why does faers father continue to choose hate and unkindness when he already has everything in the world? She began to see quickly after beginning to work that the current system didn't work. It hurt billions of plants (remember that plants are sapient in this world) and only truly benefited one - the Rex Solis. So they began to treat others with kindness - the lumenaria, the human kids. But only in secret. In public, she had to be the daughter faers father wanted. It was hard, but they managed. Until fae fell in love with 6H. The lumenaria plant in greenhouse 6, position H, was everything Regina wanted to be. Brave, caring, loud. Regina wanted so badly to be loud - to shout and for people to hear them. The day 6H escaped, almost every plant in the Regula Solis was partying. Except one who was left on guard duty for the night. Regina. 6H ran quietly, but she was eventually caught. But Regina was alone. She could make the right choice. 6H made it to the Pares. Regina continued trying to keep everyone who was in pain together. Including themself. Reports of 6H off on adventures angered the Rex Solis - she had escaped Ager somehow in the middle of the attack on the Pares hideout. Now, with 6H among humans, the Rex Solis wanted to know more about humans, their skills, intelligence, and biology, before he sent his army to the land of humans. So he brought in many humans for evil experiments. Regina was kind to them - or as kind as she could be. And fae got them to help. After Regina asked them in private, some of the humans began to act weak and submissive - easy to push around. The Rex Solis is seriously considering his daughter's suggestion to just send her to find 6H. Littke does he know Regina just wants a way to escape. That's where faers story stands right now.
