These fellas have already been claimed based on guessing their theme, but if you'd like to guess don't look below :] Hints: -All of these cats share one overarching theme -Real world, not fiction -Something specific in the sphere of art - One of them is watercolor themed - Specific art movements is too specific! - canvas seems closer to the theme than painting, but I could argue both - Gouache and paint would work as other designs within the theme -ive run an art project for preschoolers that uses 2/3 of these designs inspiration and I think thats throwing people off -the broader topic is a collection of things that are usually used seperately in their own right. They have a different title when used together --- The next line is the answer --- These are my little art medium kitties! Smudge Based on pencil or graphite - The white spotting is supposed to be like pencil shavings - The transition from dark to less dark on their legs is cross-hatching - Their stripes are supposed to be like pencil scribbles Wax (claimed) Based on crayons - The tail stripes are a bit rough but they are supposed to look like crayon wrappings - The ears are slightly crayon shaped - The stripes are rough and spotty like crayon on paper - I like freckles on characters that are supposed to look young and crayons are usually used by littles Droplet (claimed) Based on watercolor - The spots fade into her main color and gradient looks particularly good in water color - I tried to get that affect of all the pigment gathering at the edge of a wet spot near her eyes - Her tail is questionably brush shaped - Almost ripples? for the water? - I struggled to get this one right- scratch gradients are hard and I couldn't replicate the medium well
Had lots of fun with eyes I do like posting occasional kitties for people to snag, so I might hang around for that. okay back to homework now
