Aptitude and experience are points unique to a character, so they reset when a character dies. They do not matter to d3ad characters Aptitude and experience can determine roles in the future, outcomes of fights, or whatever else I add [ aptitude ] Aptitude can only be earned as a kit. The whole litter must be accepted before they can earn aptitude. Aptitude is the capacity to learn, not how good you are at something. A kit still has zero experience. A kit with 10000 medical aptitude still doesn't know the medical uses of lavender or how to heal a cut. Upon apprenticeship, aptitude turns into experience. HEALER APT -- Healer apt is used for when a healer decides they are ready for an apprentice. They can look here for what kit has the most healer apt DO NOT ASK THE HEALER TO BE HEALER APP. You'll get auto-rejected Your kit CAN say "when i grow up i wanna be just like you" (to a healer) or say they want to be a healer but don't say "xkit did healer thing super well and I'm destined to be healer frfr" you can earn healer aptitude by: - playing with plants in general (aside from, like a mossball) (+1) - Exploring the healer's den (+1) - self-roleplay of your character having a dream (in your clan studio) (this isnt a prophecy dream or anything, it doesnt matter at all what the content is) (+1) - getting an injury/sickness healed by a healer (+3) - sneaking out of camp and surviving (+5) WARRIOR APT -- you can earn warrior aptitude by: - hide and seek, moss-ball games, pretty much most kit games. ask if you want to make sure ^^ (+1) Pretending to be a warrior/deputy/leader with another kit (+1) - talking with the leader (+1) - play-fighting a kit and winning (+3) [every kit has a 50/50 chance of winning/losing in a 1v1 kit fight. (ask me or mod to roll or agree on who you want to win) - sneaking out of camp and surviving (+5) for sneaking out of camp lmk if you want healer or warrior apt
this was taken from generations with some changes (not many but i will add more) GO CHECK OUT GENERATIONS- https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/736597872/ [ experience ] experience is for the most part only earned as an apprentice - your aptitude is a base sum to your experience. so if you are a kit who graduated with 8 warrior aptitude points, you will start with 8 experience points. once you become an apprentice, your aptitude for the other role with disappear. (so if you are a warriors apprentice, you will no longer have medic aptitude/experience) HEALER EXPERIENCE you can earn healer experience by: - talking with your mentor (+1) - healing a cat unsuccessfully (+1) - having a dream with a dark forest / starclan cat (+1) - training with your mentor (+3) - healing a cat successfully (+5) the two categories you can place healer exp in are HEALING and STARCLAN CONNECTION HEALING helps with.. healing cats STARCLAN CONNECTION helps with your affinity with starclan or the dark forest. will enable you to share dreams with cats you aren't related to. in the case of a prophecy event, only medics with high starclan connection points will receive it. warrior experience may be used to determine deputy roles (those with top 5 warrior experience are candidates!) as well as many saving rolls. you can earn warrior experience by: - talking with your mentor (+1) - training with another apprentice (+1) -tracking a predator (+2) - training with your mentor (+3) - fighting a predator successfully (+5) the two categories you can place warrior exp in are FIGHTING and STEALTH (your total experience is what is used for deputy eligibility calculation) FIGHTING is used for battles and fights STEALTH is used for stealth rolls (sneaking, spying, trespassing, etc.) to earn experience as a warrior, you must participate and survive events
