RM and the Great Vacuum Incident It was an unusually quiet morning at the BTS dorm. The soft rays of the sun filtered through the curtains as RM woke up, stretching with a groggy yawn. But as soon as he opened his eyes, he heard something… odd. A soft, rhythmic “sucking” noise. Ssshhhuuuu… It wasn’t a sound RM expected to hear in the morning, and it certainly wasn’t a sound he was familiar with in the dorm. Furrowing his brows, he pushed himself out of bed and stumbled to the kitchen, still half asleep. His curiosity grew with every step—what could possibly be causing that sound? When he finally reached the kitchen, the sight that greeted him nearly made him trip over his own feet. There stood Jungkook. Jungkook was holding the vacuum cleaner up in the air, and with an intense focus, he was… sucking up fruit flies. The vacuum nozzle was pointed at a small swarm of the little insects that had apparently made their way into the kitchen. The buzzing creatures didn’t stand a chance. Jungkook was vacuuming them up as if he was on a mission to save the world. Ssshhhuuu…sshhhhuu…ssswwwwww! RM blinked, trying to process what he was seeing. Jungkook didn’t even notice his presence, so RM cleared his throat loudly to get his attention. “Jungkook,” RM said slowly, still confused. “What in the world are you doing?” Jungkook looked over at RM with a completely serious expression, as if this was the most normal thing in the world. “Oh, hey, hyung!” Jungkook greeted, as if nothing was amiss. “I’m just… you know, sucking up fruit flies.” RM stared at him. His brain tried to comprehend what was happening. “What?” he repeated, unable to believe his ears. “Yeah, the flies were all over the counter, so I figured I’d help clean up before breakfast,” Jungkook explained, completely casual. “You know, just vacuum them up. Super effective.” RM blinked again. “So… you’re using the vacuum to… suck up flies?” “Yup! Works like a charm.” Jungkook continued his operation as if it was the most mundane task. “The vacuum's suction is really good for it. They don’t even stand a chance!” RM took a deep breath, his face slowly contorting into a mix of concern and disbelief. He wasn’t sure if this was genius or absolute madness. “Jungkook, my man… are you okay?” RM asked cautiously, as if he was approaching a delicate subject. “Yeah, hyung!” Jungkook said with a wide grin, finally lowering the vacuum. “I mean, it's either this or I keep swatting them with a towel, and that gets messy. Plus, this way, I don’t even have to move much.” RM ran his hand through his hair, trying to process the sheer… absurdity of it all. “You’re telling me… you’ve been using a vacuum cleaner to capture fruit flies for the last five minutes?” “More like ten,” Jungkook replied cheerfully, flicking his bangs out of his face. “And the flies are pretty stubborn, so I need the extra power.” RM stared at him for a long, uncomfortable moment, before finally letting out a sigh. “Jungkook, you’re one of a kind.” Jungkook smiled widely, clearly proud of his innovative problem-solving method. “Thanks, hyung. It’s all part of the Jungkook experience.” Still stunned, RM glanced down at the vacuum cleaner, which was now buzzing with the fruit flies trapped inside it. “I think this is the weirdest thing I’ve seen this week,” RM muttered, already questioning his life choices. “Hyung, you should try it! It's actually kind of fun,” Jungkook offered eagerly, holding the vacuum up again like it was a precious artifact. RM stared at him for a moment, then shook his head. “Maybe later. I think I’ll stick to regular cleaning methods.” As RM walked away, he could still hear the faint "sssppppptttttt" sound of Jungkook battling his tiny flying enemies, and he couldn’t help but chuckle. Sometimes, he thought, the best part of being in BTS was never knowing what would happen next.
