His parents were never to been seen again after a crucial plane crash. Smears of blood were the only sign they had unfortunately died. Sudden anger flooded his brain, driving him away from the friends he had made at the orphanage. Cole had never thought about his parents, but now he was older, mood swings took over his life. His anger vanished as he reached the sunny town near the coast, sadness and mourning replaced the equally upsetting emotion. A hand grabbed him by the waist, ripping part of his light shirt, inserting him with a piercing syringe. Tears stung his eyes. Then he fell unconscious. Flames engulfed the top half of his head when Cole woke up, instead of his dark brown hair and he lay next to other teens his age, who struck at rock and ore with pickaxes bearing curved steel heads. He stayed there ever since. You get the pun about Cole and coal ore, you know? Heh.
