Umm, so, you basically move the bowl to catch the soccer ball with 2 keys: left arrow to make the bowl to move left, or the right arrow to make it move right. Or you just drag the bowl to catch it. Also it doesn't work for the Chromebook but at home you you can use the arrows.
Also when the ball hits the ground, the game still countinues, so if you need to pause just leave it there. No need to click the stop sign.
