BISCUIT'S STORY: 1. ADOPTION: Me and my brother Matthew always wanted a dog. We looked at different breeds, and settled on a pitbull, those boxy dogs of love and respect. We set up the date to pick up the dog and pay for the pup, however things didn't go as planned. We set up a whole dog room, and got so many materials for dogs, even filling a whole basket with toys for the new pup. However, we were NOT the only ones who wanted the pitbull, and we weren't the ones offering the most money, we were contacted about a higher offer, and were rejected for purchase. I stopped thinking about it after my grandpa later died. My dad went to Columbia after my grandpa died, and my dad went to visit the funeral, paying his respects. I couldn't go since I had school. On a Tuesday, the second day of the fourth grade year, I came home from school to hear the whimper of a puppy, my mother smiled. My brother thought I made that sound, but when I yelled "Puppy!", yeah it was no mistake. Me and my brother rushed to the dog room, to find- an adorable Beagle dog, yelping, paws up on the doggy fence blocking the doorway, We went to the puppy and started petting it, hugging it and saying, thank you mommy!" It was awesome. 2. OVERALL: It is now almost two years later. My dog's second birthday will be July 4th, 2025. We decided her birthday to be the 4th of July, because she has the energy of a firework. We love our dog, who we named "Biscuit". She is living the life. She is also a little fat, but we love her. She's my little fat breakfast bagel. I love her. TY for reading!
