Press flag, ig lol I understand that this artwork might be somewhat confusing, so I’ll explain it in detail. In the foreground, we have a fractured half of what was once Earth. You can see the various pieces held together by diminishing gravity, along with chunks that were blown away in an explosion. Orbiting this fractured Earth is a set of rings, arranged in an X-shape, which now encircle the planet, representing the missing half of our destroyed world. These rings hold the fragments of what Earth once was and will never become again. A significant feature of the artwork is the classic DJR symbol: the crossed “X” (⨻), which cuts through the wreckage, bold and overshadowing much of the devastation. Additional details: - The shading of each Earth fragment employs a technique similar to cross-hatching, though without tonal variation. - The greys used in the artwork aim to convey a sense of irony and starkness in a world of destruction (also, I must admit I struggle with adding color =p).
Yay! First non-reference picture artwork! Kinda inspired by "Marvel: What If?" Season 3, Episode 5 Ifykyk Hail DJR! The Extermination approaches!
