Use mouse/touch to navigate the menus. It's been a while, huh? There are now ten, that's right, TEN PLAYABLE CHARACTERS in Lightning Leap, all with even more fleshed-out designs than ever before! No longer are they simple stickmen, they are now slightly-less-simple stickmen! What an upgrade, am I right? Redesigned characters include: - Jason - Bean Guy(?) - Noss - Josh - Sal - Lighter Guy As well as some characters that previously didn't exist or didn't have designs, including: - Marie - Mayor Marley (formerly Mayor Guy) - Dex - TXTR Unfortunately, Marie and Mayor Marley don't have "detailed" designs or logos yet (both typically show in the "more info" page), as I currently don't know how they would look. To make things easier to develop and to mitigate further over-scoping of this already far-too-ambitious project, Lightning Leap will be released in sections. -- WAVE 1: THE MAIN GAME -- Wave 1 will include Jason, Josh, Sal, and Marie's campaigns, as well as the Final Story. This covers the main story of Lightning Leap. The release may or may not also include Bean Guy's "campaign", if you can call it that. -- WAVE 2: THE POSTGAME -- Wave 2 will include Noss and Mayor Marley's campaigns, as the former is meant to be a reward for completing the game and the latter canonically takes place after the Final Story. The update will also likely include Lighter Guy's story. -- WAVE 3: MODDING -- Wave 3 will formally introduce modding tools to Lighting Leap, using Dex and TXTR's campaigns as a demonstration for what can be done with them. These new designs are gonna be a pain to animate, aren't they?
PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEASE give feedback on the new designs, things to change, and maybe even ideas for more characters :3 CREDITS: > @Hum1245 for the concept of Josh > @TYK933 for the initial designs of Sal and Lighter Guy and the idea for a character that throws spark plugs > The rest of Garage Door Devs for aiding with the development of Lightning Leap > I forgot who came up with the idea for Marie This is technically my 8-year anniversary project! I've been on Scratch for eight whole years, that's crazy. I'm so old.
