A deceitful kiss - 26 - Jontim Notes: First of the tma reqs >:3 also first tma fic ever so we'll see how this goes- Set in s2 ---------------------------- "Supplemental," Jon began, tape recorder clutched in his hand. "I still can't figure out why Tim would come to the institute with no warning, but he doesn't seem overly suspicious. Maybe he just-" A door opened suddenly, and Jon gave a full body jerk. "Oops, sorry, I didn't mean to scare you!" It was Tim. Of course it was Tim. How much had he heard? Did he know what Jon was thinking of him? How much Jon knew? "Finishing a statement?" He leaned on the desk, brown eyes betraying nothing. "Yeah I was just- finishing. I- you can stay. If you want." Jon stuttered. Gosh, he was making such a fool of himself. Tim would surely suspect something. Tim raised an eyebrow. "Is that an invitation?" He asked smugly. "I mean- if you want it to be?" Jon offered awkwardly. Tim grinned. "Invitation accepted!" He plopped down in a nearby chair. "I'll just stick around here for a little while I guess." Jon let out a shaky sigh. He turned off the tape recorder, hoping Tim hadn't noticed it had been running. He probably wouldn't need the recording later. Right? Jon almost considered turning it back on, but... it was /Tim/. Tim wouldn't hurt him, but what if Tim had killed Gertrude? What if he- "Jon, are you alright?" Tim asked, snapping him out of his spiral. "Yeah, I'm just- thinking." Jon rubbed his hands together uncomfortably. Tim nodded, unconvinced. He definitely knew something was up. Suddenly, the man leapt to his feet, startling Jon. "Duck, I have a doctors appointment today-" He exclaimed, making his way towards the door. He paused in front of Jon's desk. "And Jon?" Jon sucked in a tight breath. "Don't overthink things, alright?" Tim cracked a small smile. "Take care of yourself." He leant down and pressed a kiss to Jon's lips. It wasn't the first time Tim had kissed him, but this time it felt different. Jon /knew/ there was something Tim wasn't telling him. He knew Tim wasn't being honest when he did it this time. So as he watched Tim leave his office, he clicked the tape recorder back on. "Tim is lying."
It's not actually a very deceitful kiss Jon just perceives it that way lol (all Tim wants to do is kiss his very paranoid boyfriend :( ) I'm as big of a tma multishipper as I am a mcyt multishipper (rare for me actually. usually I just go with what's canon) This one got a little long- (yes Tim gets to say duck. I say duck instead of f duck irl)
