Welcome to Breakthrough! June's "big" release. Though, in retrospect, it's not all that big. In this mining-themed game, you play as Jim Jaboozle, a debtor hoping to get out of your financial hardships through a get rich quick scheme (It's not a scam, trust) offered to you by your multi-millionaire friend, Bob Dongle. The scheme involves breaking into one of the old abandoned replenishing mines that were left to rot in the area way back in '03. Somebody seems to have thought it would be funny to plant bombs among the rocks, but you'll be fine... hopefully... Originally it was supposed to be a MA game (those who know) where you mined downwards indefinitely and sold the materials you found while doing so, but after starting to make it and then deciding it would be too difficult, I scrapped it, and opted for a clicker-type game, where a random ore would spawn in the middle of your screen, that you had to mine for money to buy upgrades. Obviously, this idea did not make it, and after a little bit more brainstorming, I landed on this version. Originally set to be April's release alongside the April Fools release, but there was a huge bug that I couldn't seem to fix and I decided to save it for June. I hope you like it! (I obviously fixed the bug because I'm cool) June 16, 2025 - Fixed an issue with the main menu theme where it wouldn't play all the way through June 18, 2025 - Fixed a bug with the how to play menu that allowed you to infinitely play the transition - Fixed a bug with the play button that caused it to stop shrinking and never take you to the game June 21, 2025 - Completely revamped the way bombs worked to make it easier to break them by accident - Ores and bombs will now spawn more often and disappear faster
