Update on all of my Shroom horses! (pt. 1) 1-2] First up was Waffle. I brought him into the arena and did some jumping with him. He did really well! 3-5] Then I brought Sheep into the arena. We did the same practice as I did with Waffle, and he did just as well! 6-7] Next I took Pearl out to the round pen. I didn't work her as hard as the others as she gets ridden more regularly, but we jumped an oxer a couple of times and she did amazingly! 8] After that, I took Dusty on a quick hack. We took a different route than we normally do and Dusty was great and didn't spook once! 9-10] Then it was Turtle's turn. I set up a double in the round pen with one stride in between and jumped it on both reins. He did pretty well but needs more practice - he tends to jump on a long stride most of the time. 11] Next I took Willow on a hack - we went on the usual route I take all of my horses, except she's not been on a hack with me before. For her first time in a new area, she did really well but she did spook at a plastic bag stuck in a bush XD 12-13] Finally, I set up some poles in the arena and tacked up Moose. I've not ridden Moose many times since I bought him but we're getting to know each other well and I'm excited to compete him!
