I forgot to put this in the project, but here's a bonus tip: Before you start writing your song, make a diagram like this: V1 (verse one) : C (chorus) : V2 (second verse) : B (Bridge) : And write in what you want to be focused on. Here's a random example: V1: Introducing my favorite ice cream flavor C: That flavor is the best V2: Why it's the best B: Other people's opinions, and why they're wrong This enhances tip #10, and makes the message really clear. I use this to help me stay on the point.
