because my innatentive adhd brain has decided this is more important than schoolwork. THEORY STARTS HERE: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- a - what happened before the shutdown? Gardenview was a normal kid's place and most people assumed that the toons were teenagers in costumes (ichor wasn't mentioned to the public). Toons and toon handlers were instructed to never mention ichor. Delilah ran the ichor operation, trying to harvest it in the lower floors under the guise of matinence b - how was the park shut down? In the aformentioned ichor operation, eventually a curious child tried to operate one of the machines, the machine eventually exploded, spreading ichor and glass all over the child. The child was rushed to the hospital, surviving with permanent consequences. Authorities made a security check and determined the park was dangerous, with Delilah and Walter refusing to make a statement. c - what happened immediately after? the toons were seperated from their toon handlers, and mostly left to their own devices under the guidance of Delilah. Delilah mostly talked through letters sent to Dandy, who'd been left in charge of upkeep of the facility until "the temporary legal issues" are fixed (according to Delilah). d - how did the toons handle everything? Most of the toons felt lost. Their sense of purpose was filled with the children, and now all of the visitors and employees are gone. Many eventually found solace in other activities, particularly sprout and cosmo as they now had to bake enough food for all the toons. The holiday toons were locked in the basement, with basic food and water provided. Up until Christmas, the holiday toons had no idea what was happening. Eventually the other toons were able to get the basement open. e - how did this period of peace end? Arthur eventually found out about the ichor operation, and had an idea. And idea that according to a suspicious legal loophole, meant that the toons didn't count as humans, and could be used as the sole entertainment. f - what did Arthur and Delilah do? They tried to make most floors look similar, as well as giving the toons deals. These deals were generally personalized and unique to each of them. Slowly one toon after another dissapeared. They were exposed to harmful amounts of ichor, as a way of seeing how it would affect them. This started with the more background toons that were generally reserved for greeting people entering gardenview. They also decided to create copies of the characters in case the ichor was too unstable. The experiments were successful, and Arthur and Delilah honed their craft, and the dissapearance of toons went from being concerning to prompting an investigation among the remaining toons. By the time they'd gotten to the main characters, they had gotten much better as to finding vunerabilities in the toons themselves, and figuring out how to best operate the ichor. g - what did they do after? with just dandy left among the origional toons, delilah reassured him that they'd be ok. Behind her back, he found the remains of his friends. She discovered this and tried a new method of the ichor's infection. This made dandy being the only half-corrupted origional toon. h - how did they start the new dandy's world? Dandy was instructed to be a 'shop-keeper', trading tapes for items of interest. These tapes, being the only thing remaining of his origional friends, keep him grounded and keep him from turning into a twisted. i - тЂ3 иэш CамэѕЂош The copies of the toons were now created en masse, and Arthur and Delilah set up a new, amazing unstoppable show. The copies of the toons were given abilities and stats, controlled by adults outside of the facility (for a hefty price ofc). These 'toons' were sent down floor after floor to extract ichor, though they were all destined to die eventually. Dandy at first was happy to see his old friends, but eventually became disheartened at the fact that it wasn't his real friends, just controlled, practically robots, saying the same lines over and over. Their relationships never changed, nothing changed. Dandy eventually stopped caring about these copies, knowing they are all destined to die for no reason. what do yall think?
