So let's say that I somehow entered the Papal conclave and talked the cardinals into electing you pope (technically, anybody can be elected pope, but that's another story). You have been elected and shall now lead the Holy See, but there's one thing left: you must choose your papal name, the name the world will now know you by. Here's some basic guidelines if you don't know how this works: You should technically choose the name of a Catholic saint you agree with as your papal name, which can include past popes that agree with your identity, but sure don't have to. If you want a serious name, look for the high-use names from more recently. If you want a funny name, I recommend looking back to the early popes (many of who have names never used again). You can also create something new, I guess, since that's what Francis did. You may comment multiple theoretical names. This is just for fun, after all.
DON'T USE YOUR REAL NAME FOR THIS!!! THIS IS JUST MEANT AS A FUN EXERCISE (IT'S NOT WORTH RISKING YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY) AND PAPAL NAMES ARE INTENTIONALLY DIFFERENT!!! I WILL DELETE COMMENTS THAT SEEM OFF!!! Filler project done just for the special CCRP hiatus. Pope Francis for existing. @Asisi_Games_Co for some inspiration. Pope Hilarius for being hilarius. Disclaimer: I'm not Catholic.
