:: Chapter Five, pt. 1 :: Vivana Vivana sat on her throne, her silver, diamond-studded crown feeling like it was getting heavier each minute. Her green eyes narrowed as she stared at the large double doors ahead, which led out of the throne room. Vivana sighed darkly, closing her eyes for a moment. She rested her head in her hand, opening her eyes again. It had been a year since she had taken her place on the throne as the Queen of the Air Spirits. Since then, she has declared war on the Elves, has taken many measures to make the Air Spirit Nation safer and richer, and overall has been, what she hoped, a good queen. However, Vivana didn't feel like she was the best queen. But she did everything her mum had done: she had listened to other Air Spirit's ideas on her Council of Advisors (especially Iphnie's, but she wouldn't admit that to anyone but herself), she visited the subjects of her kingdom as often as she could, and she was even merciful to those who disobeyed in her kingdom. What more could a nation ask of a queen? A knock sounded on the opposite side of the double doors. Vivana sighed, her eyes narrowing. If it's Lazuli, I will end him for real this time, she thought darkly, pulling herself up from her throne into a regal standing position. She folded her hands in front of her stomach, her hummingbird wings folding on her back. "Enter," Vivana said, raising her chin.
