:: Chapter Five, continued :: But to Vivana's relief, it was a kind face. Iphnie stepped into the throne room, her dragonfly wings buzzing cheerfully. Vivana looked over Iphnie's head from her throne, ensuring no one else was entering, before sighing and letting her shoulders slump. Iphnie shut the double doors, her eyes widening as she looked at Vivana in concern. The Queen took off her crown and set it on the seat of her throne. Vivana walked down the few steps that led to her throne and over to Iphnie. Iphnie met Vivana in the middle of the throne room, enveloping the Queen in a hug. Vivana embraced her friend tightly, closing her eyes for a moment. Then she pulled away, a faint smile on her lips. "You weren't at the advisors' meeting today," Vivana said slowly, tilting her head to the side as she looked back at Iphnie curiously. "Why?" The Head Advisor chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck. "I was hanging out with…um…" Iphnie trailed off, looking away from Vivana in embarrassment. Vivana smirked, looking at her friend's bashful expression. The Queen crossed her arms and pretended to think. "With whom?" Vivana asked Iphnie, raising a brow. Iphnie chuckled again, clearly shy and hesitant to tell the Queen who she had been "hanging out" with. Vivana chuckled, thinking. "How about I guess?" she asked her friend with shining eyes. Iphnie rubbed her arm, nodding hesitantly. Vivana contemplated and went through the names she knew in her head. "That bodyguard…Daevi?" the Queen asked the Head Advisor, tilting her head. Iphnie shook her head. "Hm," Vivana mumbled, "the lutenient to the General? Ethae?" Iphnie shook her head again, smiling faintly. Vivana sighed, looking at Iphnie in disbelief. "You're a tough one, Iphnie," the Queen teased with a grin. "That servent of your father's, isn't he the one named Vitali?" Iphnie chuckled nervously and shook her head again. She was being…strangely quiet. Vivana shrugged it off and laughed lightly. "Well, what about the maid of mine, Auralee?"
